Dr. Akash Raina is a UK-trained Consultant Neonatologist with over 13 years of experience, currently serving at Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi, home to the UAE’s largest tertiary neonatal services. He holds an MD in Pediatrics and further pursued MRCPCH and CCT in Neonatal Medicine in the UK. Before joining Corniche Hospital, he was a Consultant Neonatologist at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester, where he gained extensive experience in managing complex neonatal cases.
Dr. Raina’s clinical interests include the care of extremely premature infants, congenital cardiac anomalies, and surgical neonates. With nearly a decade at Corniche, he has played a key role in strengthening its neonatal care delivery. He is recognized for his compassionate approach, dedication to evidence-based practice, and commitment to high standards of neonatal intensive care.
