Dr. Hesham Shawki Tawakol is a US-trained Consultant Neonatologist with nearly three decades of experience in pediatrics and neonatal care. He is American Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Tawakol is deeply committed to holistic care, with a strong focus on respiratory, nutritional, and infection-related concerns in newborns.
His tailored approach ensures that each infant receives comprehensive care suited to their individual needs. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Neonatal Committee at the National Institute of Health (NIHS). In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Tawakol is a leading educator, frequently participating in conferences and workshops across the Middle East.
