Our Pediatric Oncology Department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of various cancer types in children, spanning from the neonatal period through adolescence. Children may encounter a wide spectrum of cancer types, ranging from milder to more severe cases. Our specialized team is well-equipped to address numerous cancer types, including leukemia, brain tumors, lymphomas, soft tissue sarcomas, Wilms tumor (kidney tumor), bone tumors (Osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma), retinoblastoma (eye tumor), germ cell tumors (reproductive cell tumor), liver cancers, retinoblastoma (eye tumor), histiocytoses, rare childhood tumors, lymphadenopathy (differential diagnosis of infant gland size), benign tumors, hemangiomas, vascular malformations, and some congenital anomalies (hemihypertrophy, aniridia).
Leukemia is the most prevalent cancer among children, and our oncologists are actively involved in treating a significant number of leukemia patients in our clinic on a daily basis. Our focus remains on providing comprehensive care and support to children and their families throughout their journey to combat and overcome these challenging conditions.
